Good Buds

Kellen and Nikki are becoming good friends. He really likes to roll around on her soft bed. I'm sure she gets tired of constantly being kicked off her bed, but she handles it really well.

New Cup

Kellen has started using his new sippy cup with a straw. I thought he might have a hard time with it, but he picked it up right away. He still spills a lot down the front of him, but he'll get it.

11 Months

Kellen turned 11 months on Monday (17th). He's growing up so fast. In the past month he's been able to experience lots of new things; his first Christmas, more teeth (total of 8 teeth - 4 on top, 4 on bottom), new foods, and new moves. He's still a pretty good eater. He loves broccoli, carrots, yogurt, and cheese. We are waiting for him to start walking any day. He's cruising all over the place. The other day he stood straight up from a sit with no help and without holding onto anything. He's also starting to talk. He's saying a lot of da da and ma ma and responding to words on command. Still sleeps through the night and takes two good naps a day. Now its on to planning his 1st Birthday

Happy Boy

Kellen is such a happy boy. He has so many funny expressions and can make all these crazy movements with his eyebrows. Its been so cool to watch his personality blossom. I actually get sad at night when it is time for him to go to bed, and in the morning I can't wait for him to wake up. Even when he's sick or cranky, I still enjoy taking care of him. He's such a JOY!

Mommy's Little Helper

Kellen helped mommy do the dusting today. I'm training him right!

The Wave

Kellen is consistently waving now. Its so adorable. When I go in his room in the morning, he waves to me from his crib.

Snow Watch

So far we have had three small snows this winter. Since there hasn't really been a whole lot on the ground, we haven't taken Kellen out to see the snow yet. He had fun watching out the window this morning as it came down. He seems to be curious about the snow, but I think once he realizes how cold it is he won't be quite as interested.

Cruising

Kellen is moving all over the house now. He is now able to pull himself up on his truck and just go! He pushes that thing everywhere. When he walks he waddles, its super cute! It won't be long till he's walking all by himself!

Fell asleep sitting up, again!
