My Uncle Keithie!

Kellen sure loves his Uncle Keith. He loves his goofy personality and musical abilities. Kellen would just sit and listen to Keith play his guitar or banjo all day. When Keith isn't around, Kellen goes to the basement door (where Keith lives) and bangs and hollers for him to come up. So cute! I don't know which one will miss the other more when we move.

15 Months

Today Kellen went for his 15 month well visit. He is 25 lbs and just shy of 32" tall. That puts him in the 50th percentile for his weight and the 75th percentile for height. This has been pretty consistent over the past several months. He is also getting all four of his canine teeth in, which explains the excessive finger chewing and drooling. Once they are all in, he will have 16 teeth (that seems like a lot for such a little boy. He is meeting all his milestones; throwing, running, talking, and much more! He is just doing new things everyday. He now uses his fork and spoon to eat fairly consistently. He also has about 6-8 words he uses regularly and about 10 signs. His personality is in full blossom!

Finger Painting

One day last week Kellen was invited over to finger paint with his friend, Emma. He wasn't real interested in the paint. He just loved being outside and checking things out. Emma had a great time painting on Kellen. She painted his hands and toes, and even put some in his hair! Very sweet! Thanks to Emma's mommy for making the homemade paint!

My Little Show-Off

Kellen is such the little show-off. He just feeds off everyone elses reactions. We were having dinner with some family, when Kellen realized it was funny to put the fork in his mouth backwards. "Look at me, no hands"!

Mother's Day

Today I celebrated my 2nd Mother's Day! The weather was beautiful and I got to spend it with my baby boy and husband! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family. Everyday that we have together is truly a gift from above.

If you haven't tried to photograph a toddler before, you can see from the photos below how challenging it can be.

First Pair of Crocs

Kellen got his first pair of crocs. They are adorable! I tried to catch some pictures of them, but he never stops moving!

Picking Daisies

Now who could be upset when their toddler presents them with a special flower, even if they did pick it off one of your favorite plants!

"Don't worry Mama, I'll put it back".
